Giving Opportunities

Your gift Has an impact

As a nonprofit healthcare organization, we depend on the community’s support to enhance the lives of our residents in as many ways as possible. Thanks to you, we can provide life-enriching activities, therapies, and programs that foster a meaningful lifestyle for our assisted living residents.

Your generosity can support:

The Tree of Life: The striking wall sculptures in the lobby of Willow Towers Assisted Living is a vibrant symbol of hope and strength, and provide a fitting way to honor a special person in your life. Like a tree, our campus provides shelter and branches of support—becoming a part of them gives you a lasting way to honor your loved one, while helping residents now and in the years ahead. Art and culture: At Willow Towers, we never stop learning. We take our residents off-campus to outdoor concerts, and we bring variety of music to our campus in New Rochelle, such as classical, doo-wop, and jazz. We also sponsor educational speakers who address topics ranging from healthy living, to current events, and literature. Our residents also benefit from a variety of creative art activities including painting, pottery, and arts and crafts. Through art programs, we help stimulate our residents’ minds, lift their spirits, and improve their overall quality of life. We also have a dedicated art exhibition space on our campus, the Lazarus Gallery at United Hebrew, which presents several exhibitions and interactive demonstrations each year for our residents, staff, and the general community to enjoy.

Music therapy: Music does more than soothe the soul; it can keep residents affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia connected to the world around them, even when nothing else seems to get through. Music therapy is a key piece of our dementia care, and it also provides positive ways for residents to interact with their loved ones and continue to share memories.

Beautification: Few would doubt the restorative effect of being surrounded by flowers and greenery, whose sights and aromas evoke positive emotions in our residents. We beautify our halls and common living spaces with lovely arrangements and attractive potted plants. In addition, we maintain landscaped interior courtyards, which extend our residents’ living space outdoors.

Entertainment library: We’re always expanding our media library to offer our residents a wide range of technology, books, music, and movies for their enjoyment and relaxation.

Spa days: We want our residents to feel spoiled and relaxed! Spa days provide hands-on healing and care through gentle massage, aromatherapy, and yoga, which foster relaxation, stress reduction, and rejuvenation.

“I feel so fortunate to have my mom at Willow Towers. The activities and entertainment are phenomenal! My mom still loves to sing, and it gives us something to do together when I visit. The best thing is to see the smile on her face when I’m here.”
