Adele is 103 years young. She one of five centenarians at Willow Towers! She participates in concerts, special events, pet therapy and visits to the courtyard. Adele likes to look festive — she is usually dressed is something bright and sparkly and has a friendly smile for all. Her family visits her often here.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio to her parents Fanny and Joseph Rogoff, Adele move to Long Island when she was six years old. She stayed there her whol life. Her father was a welder, and her mother, a dressmaker. All of her siblings were girls. Adele met her husband Jacob at a party and married him when she was twenty-three. They were blessed with three children: Harold, Fred, and Arthur.
Adele has always been an avid reader and loves to dance. Ballroom dancing and folk dancing were favorite activities when she was younger; she also belonged to a book club and loved to play bocce. She and her husband enjoyed related careers: Adele worked as a legal stenographer and her husband was a an attorney.
Adele has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. You may have met a member of her family here at Willow Towers as they visit her very often. Say hello and visit with Adele next time you see her — she’s wonderful company!
