We Never Forget Who You Are Inside
Tending to a pot of flowers, enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend, or decorating for the holidays are all simple activities, but they can hold special meaning for those affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia, as they can trigger happy memories. Your loved one will partake of these and an array of other activities in our Phoenix Memory Care Neighborhood, a secure memory impairment unit located within Willow Towers Assisted Living.
There, residents enjoy the home-like environment of Phoenix, specially designed with visual cues and contrasting colors to stimulate memory and help residents identify their surroundings. They also enjoy the freedom to move about on our secure floor, which includes a common living room, entertainment area, and dining space, as well as supervised excursions to our secure outdoor courtyard.
Our specially trained team members are experts in memory care support and highly effective in helping residents maintain their identity, dignity, skills, passions and interests. They are dedicated to involving residents with memory loss in daily activities that help them feel valued and provide them with a sense of purpose, ranging from daily self-care, to music, art, and pet therapy, and fitness and cooking activities. Our customized care services are tailored to your loved one’s needs.
The Griffen Activity Program, held within Willow Towers Assisted Living, addresses the needs of individuals with mild memory impairment. Participants engage in daily activities designed for cognitive and social stimulation.
